Myth Series/The Fallen Series…Literally

                Odds are if you were born in the Y2k years, you probably only vaguely heard of the Myth games. The more popular one being Myth 2 Soulblighter—the Myth franchise offered many unique battles and types of gameplay. As far as fantasy is concerned, it was one of the top. Unfortuately, Myth has now been overshadowed by the new Halo series—much of which the music was inspired by the Myth series’ composer, Martin O’ Donnell.

                The Myth series had some interesting characters, the characters and the background of the story actually went deeper than the game itself. It is unfortunate that no one took up the gauntlet to reestablish this classic game. Many individuals have done mods for the game, but are often regarded by new players as being jerks/unfriendly to new players.  Perhaps one day someone will revitalize this series, but until then, it will be nothing more than a memory.
